Rome - The Constantine Arch (5/7/2007)

From the Colosseum, there is a great vantage point of the Constantine Arch. Forgetting my 8th grade world history, I was surprised to read recently that the arch was built in the mid 4th century - nearly 220 years after the Colosseum was built - and near the end of the Roman era. Constantine legalized Christianity - which was punishable by death until then. The arch though is considered inferior to the others in the area.
